Ted Bundy (born November 24, 1946 – died January 24, 1989) is an American Serial Killer, Kidnapper, Rapist, Burglar, and Necrophile from Burlington, Vermont. In his life, Ted raped and killed many young women and girls during the 1970s. Furthermore, he admitted to 30 homicides.
Bundy committed all his crimes in seven states between 1974 and 1978. However, the actual number of victims is unknown and possibly higher. His real full birth name is Theodore Robert Bundy.
Trivia, Story & Early Life
He attracted his victims through his good looking personality. Later, Ted gained their trust and overpower them. In addition, he also beheaded at least 12 of his victims. The killer also kept some of the severed heads as souvenirs in his apartment.
In 1975, Bundy imprisoned for the first time. He was incarcerated in Utah for kidnapping and attempted a criminal assault. In fact, he also became a suspect of various unsolved homicides in multiple states.
Theodore then faced homicide charges in Colorado. Moreover, he managed to escape two times and committed further assaults. The murderer then committed 3 murders. Bundy recaptured in Florida in 1978. He received three death sentences in two separate trials. Ted executed in the electric chair at Florida State Prison on January 24, 1989.
