Mukund’s father, R Govindrajan was an IPS officer from the batch of 1953. His mother’s name is Mythili Rajan. Moreover, his brother Raghuram Rajan is the former Governor of the Reserve Bank of India. In addition, Mukund also has a brother named Srinivas Rajan, and a sister named Jayashree. Furthermore, he did his M.Phil. in International Relations from the University of Oxford. He also did B.Tech. in Chemical Engineering from IIT Delhi.
