The event took place at the Special Events Center at Boise State University. Alongwith her modeling career, she started to work at Stewart Farms in Nampa as a dairy herd health intern. She did her internship from May 2013 to August 2013.
Later, Kim Layne became the vice president of marketing of the Alpha Phi International Fraternity. She held this position from October 2013 to November 2014.
