Jane Laut (born in 1958) is an American Criminal and Murder Convict from California, United States. She accused of the murder of her husband, Dave Laut (Shot Putter). However, she killed her spouse Dave on August 27, 2009, at her home in Oxnard.

She convicted of first-degree murder and sentenced 50 years of prison punishment on March 30, 2016. Her doctor Katherine Emerick who is a professional psychologist came for her support.
Ms. Emerick revealed that her patient had posttraumatic stress disorder, anxiety, dependent personality disorder, and avoidant personality disorder and requested the court to reduce the punishment. Still, Jane declined the plea that sent to the court.
