Hervin Khalaf (born 1984 – died October 13, 2019) was a Syrian Politician, Human Rights Activist, and Secretary-General from Syria. She gained immense media attention for being the secretary-general of the Future Syria Party.
It is a political organization in territory liberated from ISIS in northern Syria. The group was first launched last year in 2018. Furthermore, Hervin’s party worked in an attempt to unite Arab and Kurdish groups.
Future Syria Party was hoping to replace dictator Bashar al-Assad with a multi-ethnic democracy. On October 13, 2019, Khalaf was brutally murdered by the Turkey-backed groups.

Her death news was first published by the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights and the Syrian Democratic Forces (SDF). They announced that Islamist forces sent Turkish troops into Syria.
Later, they told that Turkish-backed paramilitaries killed nine civilians on the road, including Hervin Khalaf. She used to co-chair the secular Future Syria Party. She was cruelly dragged out of her car after they murdered her driver.
Then, the Turkish troops reportedly tortured, raped and executed the politician. Moreover, a graphic video that shows the circumstances of her passing went viral on social media.
