Donna Theo Strickland (born May 27, 1959) is a Canadian Physicist and Professor from Guelph, Ontario. In October 2018, she received the Nobel Prize in Physics. Furthermore, Strickland shares this award with Gérard Mourou with whom she developed the chirped pulse amplification. Mourou is a professor at the École Polytechnique in France.

Currently, Donna Strickland is working as an associate professor at the University of Waterloo. She is working in the Physics and Astronomy Department.
