Delonte West (born July 26, 1983) is an American Former Professional Basketball Player from Washington, D.C. He used to play in the National Basketball Association (NBA) for the Boston Celtics.
In his successful career, West performed for various teams such as Cleveland Cavaliers, Seattle SuperSonics, and Dallas Mavericks. Furthermore, the former player also professionally played for the Chinese Basketball Association.
He used to represent teams like the Fujian Xunxing and Shanghai Sharks. Moreover, Delonte started his career after playing college basketball for Saint Joseph’s University. Later, the player began after Boston Celtics drafted him in their team in 2004.

His college teammate named Jameer Nelson and Phil Martelli (former St. Joseph’s coach) made their concerns regarding the incident. In addition, Delonte earlier disclosed on the internet that someone approached him with a gun.
Later, Aaron Goodwin (West’s former agent) released a Twitter post and confirmed Delonte West was involved in the quarrel.
He even said that the former player needs medical attention and currently recovering from the physical assault attack. Earlier, West was diagnosed with bipolar disorder in 2008.
Aaron told his followers that the former NBA star is having mental, emotional or physical setbacks in his life. He tried to talk to him over the past several months but he is suffering from mental illness.
