Breonna Taylor (born 5 June 1993) was an American citizen, professional ER Technician, EMT, and entrepreneur from Grand Rapids, Michigan, United States. She was the victim of Louisville, Kentucky’s apartment shooting. She was the lady who was shot and killed by police officers of the Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD).
The police officers had a no-knock warrant for the investigation on Breonna Taylor. According to the sources, Breonna was involved in drug dealing. LMPD issued a search warrant against Taylor because of her previous relations with controlled substances dealer “Jamarcus Glover”.
On 13 March 2020, Police officers shot Breonna eight times and killed her. All the incident was happened around at 12:30 am in Taylor’s apartment in Louisville, Kentucky. At that time, her boyfriend “Kenneth Walker” was also present in the apartment.

Breonna Taylor shot dead at age 26
It was March 13, 2020, when some Louisville Metro Police Department (LMPD) police officers such as Jonathan Mattingly, Brett Hankison, and Myles Cosgrove were given a “no-knock warrant” to search Breonna Taylor’s home.
LMDP believed that Breonna had a relation with drug dealers and was hiding some drugs at her home. Police officers arrived at his house on 13 March 2020 at about 12:30 am to search for the drugs.
On not opening the door the police broke the door with the help of battering ram machine. At that time, Breonna Taylor and her boyfriend Kenneth Walker were sleeping in the apartment. Police started investigating as soon as they reached the apartment.
Upon finding nothing, they started arresting Taylor. Breona Taylor’s boyfriend Walker fired on police officer Jonathan Mattingly to escape himself. Seeing the worsening of the situation, the police officer standing outside killed Breonna Taylor by firing 8 bullets at her.
Also her boyfriend Kenneth Walker was arrested for shooting at the police. The death of Breonna Taylor sparked off her family and they protest to demand justice.
